This holiday house is located in a private and peaceful garden setting close to the village. The grounds have several different zones including native trees, fruit trees, vegetable and flower beds. The garden is designed to be water-conserving so we have used river pebbles and bark mulch instead of lawns. The garden attracts a lot of birdlife and butterflies and is very private.

The house includes a garden sleep-out (great for the kids or extra guests) and a lovely covered outdoor dining area. You will feel like you are in the country while still enjoying the convenience of village life. The house itself is a stylish and modernised version of a kiwi bach and it is set-up for outdoor living. It has a relaxed feel using a mix of modern and mid-century era furniture and furnishings. Each room has a garden view and some rooms have original art-works on the wall.

The main living area is open plan with high ceiling and also includes a sleeping nook where you can view the gardens from your bed (this bedroom is open plan to the lounge). This room is a favourite in winter with the cosy fire going in the wood-burner. There is also a privacy screen should you choose to use it and a separate bedroom off the dining area. Another favourite area is the designer bathroom with free-standing bath and bi-folding windows that look out into a native woodland.
